About Gen-Z Leadership Olympiad

Gen-Z Leadership Olympiad is a first-of-its-kind pan India contest to identify the leaders of tomorrow. Like never before, this multi-step competition will challenge contenders on all parameters of a great leader and give them an opportunity of lifetime to make their case in front of corporate honchos and academia greats.

Event Highlights



  • You are eligible to participate in Gen Z Leadership Olympiad if:
    - You are pursuing graduation (regular or distance course) (Graduation refers to 3 year or 4 year degree and includes professional courses such as CA, CS or ICWA), or
    - You have completed graduation in last 2 years, and, you have not taken admission in any post graduate course (or any other course of duration greater than or equal to 12 months)
  • Each team should include maximum 3 members
  • There is NO participation fee.

  • Competition Stages

  • Stage 1:
    Video Blog: As first step of the process, the registered teams have to submit a 3 minutes(+-20 Seconds) Vlog on any one of these 5 themes.
    • What would be 5 themes around which 2019 lok sabha elections will be contested?
    • With increasing influence of artificial intelligence, will robots render humans useless?
    • Moral Policing : An attempt to preserve culture or a gang of hooligans?
    • 5 Sci-Fi ideas that you think will become reality in next 3 years.
    • Indian Cricket : A role model for other sports in India or the biggest cannibaliser.

    One team, one VLOG. Max file size is 500 mb. Good quality videos are requested; Videos shot on mobiles will also suffice. Upload your video on any file sharing site(Google Drive/Dropbox etc) and submit the link to file in Team's first registered member's dashboard. We will publish the VLOG on our website after review, for voting. Each team has to gather maximum possible votes for their videos.Top 30 teams on the basis of number of votes will be submitted to Jury, which will decide the top 20 teams that move to the stage, and one team from 21st to 30th will take their chances for a wild card entry on the day of main event. Hence, a total of 21 teams will move to Round 1 of Stage 2

  • Stage 2:
    This is a 1 Day event that will happen at a venue in NCR. The day will comprise of following 3 rounds:

    Round 1: Public Speaking
    This is a face-off round. So, every individual will be getting an on-the-spot topic and will have to speak for 1 minute. Scores of individuals will be taken to calculate total score of the team and top 15 teams will move to next round.

    Round 2: Experiential Learning
    At this stage, we will look at your ability to collaborate, think and create. You will be given an experiential learning assignment and every individual will be evaluated separately. Once again, scores of individuals will be taken to calculate total score of team and top 10 teams will move to final round

    Round 3: Case Study Analysis
    Simple yet not that simple as it sounds, this round will require you to analyse a case study and propose a solution. This round will test your ability to approach a problem. Top 3 teams will be rewarded
