What were the various parameters considered and their respective percent weightages for shortlisting candidates for PI-WAT round for admission into Master of Management programme Batch of 2018 – 2020?

SJMSoM, IIT Bombay released a first shortlist based on candidates securing minimum percentile scores in the CAT. Post this, it considers following 6 parameters to come up with shortlist for WAT-PI:

  • Work Experience or professional course (weight = 5%)
  • CAT (weight = 80%)
  • 12th board (weight = 5%)
  • Graduation (weight = 5%)
  • Gender Diversity (weight = 3%)
  • Post Graduate/ Professionals (weight = 2%)

What were the various parameters considered and their respective percent weightages for releasing final admission list for admission into Master of Management programme Batch of 2018 – 2020?

The final merit list of candidates selected for offering admission to M.Mgt Program (2018-20 batch) was based on candidate's composite score of different parameters whose weights are mentioned below:

  • CAT 2017 overall Percentile score (weight = 37.5%)
  • Personal Interaction (weight = 10% WAT + 37.5% PI)
  • Candidate's Profile (weight = 5% Graduation + 5% Work Experience + 5% Extra-curricular Activities)

Highest (Domestic) - Rs. 32.40 Lakh per annum for the flagship programme Master of Management.

Highest (International) - Not Applicable

 


What was the lowest salary offered to students of your PGPM batch (2016-2018) from your institute?

Lowest Salary - Rs. 8.50 Lakhs per annum.
